Winter is the best time to flaunt dark lips but it can go horribly wrong if not done properly. Also, you're running short of time to use all the dark lip shades because summer is right around the corner. Mumbai-based make-up artist, Chetan Karkhanis says that darker shades give your lips a better definition and also suggests few tips on how you can look stunning when you wear dark lips.

Be confident about the colour you choose
You need to be confident about pulling off dark lips. That's what makes you look sexier.
Be generous with the quantity
Don't hesitate and apply lots of it. That will make it look stunning and also enhance the shape of your lips making it more prominent.

Choose the right colour
Choose a colour that compliments your skin tone. Take 15 minutes and try all your lipsticks (the darker shades, of course) to choose one. You can go for matte or glossy, depending on which colour you choose. Avoid using brown shades because if not done properly, your lips might look dull.
