1. Avoid washing your hair with hot water: Do not wash your hair with hot water as it can strip off the natural oils from your hair leaving your hair looking lackluster. Wash your hair with cold water or lukewarm water if you can t bear the cool temperature. These habits are also ruining your hair.
2. Go easy with a towel: If you have the habit of rubbing your hair vigorously with a towel as soon as you step out of the shower, stop doing that. All the rubbing can damage your hair instead of removing the extra water. Instead, shake off the excess water from your hair with your fingers and rub it gently in the direction it grows. While it may take longer to dry your hair, it is going to make combing hair smooth.
3. Trim your hair regularly: Trimming hair regularly can help you prevent the bad hair days. It will make your hair manageable even if you want to sport a long hair. Trimming your hair once in four to five weeks can be ideal.
4. Do not brush your hair wet: Never use a brush to comb wet hair. Go with a wide toothed comb instead. Also, be gentle when you comb your hair. These DIY solutions will also help manage bad hair days.
5. Wash your hair regularly: You can avoid bad hair days by washing your hair regularly. Washing your hair every alternate day is ideal. However, choose a shampoo depending on your hair type. If your hair is dry, you may just want to skip using shampoo and just apply a moisturising hair conditioner.
