Three easy ways to make hair detangler spray at home for your kids

You may use the third one if your child has a sensitive scalp.

Detangling hair is a messy, tiresome and painful task. Especially when it comes to kids who are too restless to even sit at one place let alone allow their hair to be detangled properly. If not detangled delicately your hair is prone breakage and can lose its strength. Hair detangler sprays help soften the tangles created in the hair strands and makes combing a piece of cake. Here are three ways you can make detangler spray at home.

1. Simple two ingredient hair detangler spray:

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup conditioner
  • 1 full cup lukewarm water

Method:

Take a small bowl and pour the conditioner into the bowl now keep adding warm water and stir simultaneously. Stir for a while and then pour it into a spray bottle. Shake well before each use.

2. Marshmallow root hair detangler spray:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 tbs of marshmallow root(It is a great natural ingredient to soften your hair)
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar(Optional. You may use essential oil of your choice too)
  • 1 tbs olive oil

Method:

Put marshmallow roots to boil for 4-5 minutes. Strain and leave the water to cool down. Add 3 cups of water to it and the rest of the ingredients too. Mix them well and pour it into a spray bottle.

3. Aloe vera hair detangler spray:

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup aloe vera gel (aloe vera gel with no added ingredients. You can make at home too by scraping out the interior of the aloe vera plant)
  • One and a half cup lukewarm water
  • Essential oil of choice: 20 drops

Method:

In a bowl Mix the aloe vera gel and the essential oil well. Add water and continue mixing till all the ingredients are mixed well. Pour it in a spray bottle. It is great for sensitive hair.
