More and more people are dealing with dark circles, puffy eyes, hollowness, eye bags and eye wrinkles, thanks to the modern lifestyle and increased screen timings. To address these issues, India's leading pharma company ENTOD Pharmaceuticals has developed a nanotechnology-based under eye gel serum in collaboration with UK-based cosmetic research laboratory NuSkin London.
According to the pharma company, the eye serum (to be sold under the brand name Eyecirque) is based on an innovative plant-based biocellular formula containing a vitamin A+ C+ E complex, anti-aging antioxidants, skin brightening agents and naturally occurring ultra-moisturizing ingredients. The gel is ultra-light, soothing, cooling, non-sticky and non-irritant on the skin, and gets easily absorbed into the skin around the eyes, it said.
"The sensitive area underneath our eyes definitely needs some extra attention and care. Sleepless nights, stress and much more can lead to eye bags, dark circles and more, particularly highlighting that targeted area," said Nikkhil K Masurkar, Executive Director, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals.
He claimed that the under-eye gel serum they have developed is the world's first nanotechnology based under eye gel serum formulated with scientifically proven natural ingredients such as Retinol, Glutathione, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Aquaxyl and Ginseng, which are thoroughly tested for safety on the skin around the eyes.
According to him, results can be seen as early as a couple of weeks within application. However, he noted that, one need to use it for at least 6 weeks in order to start seeing significant improvements and continue to boost the skin around your eyes in the long run.
The serum is formulated for all skin types in state-of-the-art internationally accredited skin research laboratories.
Anjula Masurkar, Clinical Director, ENTOD International Group, elaborated "Through nanotechnology, ingredients have undergone an advanced particle size reduction process to give particle sizes of less than 50 nanometres. Such extremely small potent nanoparticles are absorbed almost 20 times better and faster into the skin providing deeper skin penetration. This allows for greater spread across the target skin site and significantly improved bioavailability leading to quicker and more prominent results."
She added that their researchers have designed this technology specially for the delicate skin around the eyes after thorough dermatological and ophthalmological testing.
Further, the company claims that the product contains no parabens, silicones, no sulphates, no phthalates, no mineral oils or other harsh chemicals and is animal cruelty-free.
