1. Moisturises skin: Cocoa butter can be used as a daily moisturiser to even skin texture and leave the skin feeling smooth. Cocoa butter works on all skin types but is particularly effective for normal to dry skin. It contains fatty acids which improve skin s moisture retention. It is also very effective to soothe skin on areas such as elbows, knees and ankles and reduce its dryness.

2. Heals chapped lips: One of the most common uses of cocoa butter is to heal chapped lips. It is an emollient and can add a protective layer of hydration to your lips. You can simply mix cocoa butter with grapefruit, orange, peppermint or orange oil to heal dry, chapped lips.

3. Prevents wrinkles and fine lines: Cocoa butter has anti-ageing properties. It is rich in anti-oxidants, omega 3 and omega 6 that helps improve the elasticity of the skin.
