Have a date tomorrow but a pimple appeared right on your forehead? Wait, do not cancel the date. Instead, apply pudina juice on the zit. Yes, easily available and cheap, this home remedy suits all skin types and is safe as well. Here are 11 amazing ways mint or pudina keeps you healthy.

Mint or pudina has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that not only cleanses your skin but also acts as a natural toner. It flushes out the harmful toxins and impurities accumulated on the skin, leading to acne. The soothing property of this humble herb calms the itchy skin and rehydrates dry and dull skin. It also contains salicylic acid that prevents pimples by eliminating dead skin cells, that in turn avoid clogging of pores.

Fresh pudina juice: Take a handful of mint leaves and grind them using a mortar and pestle. Once you get a thick paste, squeeze the pulp to extract its juice. Now, apply this juice and let it remain for 10 minutes before washing your face with water. Do this regularly to get rid of acne at home (this one worked for me).

Pudina and rose water: This pudina face pack is effective in tackling skin conditions like dermatitis and eczema as well, while rose water moisturises your skin. Take a handful of mint leaves and grind them to a smooth paste by adding few drops of rose water. Apply it on the pimple and leave it overnight. For effective results, do this daily.
