In recent times, BeYu is one brand whose products have impressed me massively. I have tried their compact, waterproof mascara and their lip crayon already and can't wait to try the others in the range. When I was at the store picking up some more lip colours, I saw the BeYu range again and grabbed the liquid eyeliner immediately. This one is from their monsoon make-up range and claims to be totally waterproof. I have come across waterproof eyeliners that give this plastic layer look and come off when peeled.

I took a swatch trial and bought this one to see if this passes the test. So here's my review:

BeYu Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black the product

It's a plastic bottle, extremely lightweight. Though plastic sounds like a cheap material to be used for an expensive product like this, they've managed to design it aptly so it looks classy enough. The brush type applicator is very thin and loses form if pressed too hard against the surface of the neck of the bottle. It's too small so the application is a bit tricky. However, it does glide smoothly. You have to just be careful with the tip of the brush.

The effect

This is the darkest shade of black eyeliners you can find. I love matte black eyeliners and hence this is the best jet black matte liquid liner I have come across. Other matte liners are not exactly jet black. For those who prefer glossy eyeliners, you may still not be very disappointed because the black colour really stands out and gives a bold effect.

It dries up in about 10 seconds. That's a saviour so I don't have to sit with my eyes closed till it dries completely and waste time in the morning. I have cowl eyes and most liners start smudging in a few hours leaving me with a shabby smokey eyes look. This eyeliner hasn't smudged or faded even once. The brand claims it is best for water sports and I have done that. I once bathed with it on and even took the risk of sleeping with it. The next morning, I was surprised to see that it didn't bleed and looked freshly applied. Super impressed!

The 10ml bottle costs Rs900. I agree it's slightly expensive but its paraben free, and has a real long-lasting effect so definitely worth the spend. I use it on days when I want my eyeliner to stay from morning to late night and it surely doesn't disappoint.
