Product Review: Ayorma Fairness Daily Scrub

Here's my take on Ayorma's fairness daily scrub and if you should consider investing in it or not.

I have always been skeptical about face scrubs because I have extremely sensitive skin that is prone to frequent breakouts. Despite that, I decided to give Ayorma s Fairness Daily Scrub a try because of its ingredients which contains licorice and curcuma or turmeric extracts, lavender and germanium oils, along with orange peel oils. I have repeatedly read about how these ingredients are natural remedies to rejuvenate your skin, so I figured it would be worth the try. Another reason why I chose to pick up this product was because it costs only Rs 279 for a 50 ml bottle, which is far more affordable than other Ayurvedic face scrubs. The product claims that it gently exfoliates your skin cells and helps in reducing white and black heads. You could also try these five face packs to get rid of whiteheads.

The trial

As I mentioned earlier, my skin is prone to frequent breakouts and whiteheads are my skin s biggest enemy. As per the instructions on the box, after washing my face before bedtime, I dabbed the scrub on my forehead, cheeks, nose and neck and massaged it in circular motions for a few minutes and then rinsed my face. I tried using it every night as it mentioned and didn t bother following up with a moisturizer since I have oily skin.

My review

At first, I was very reluctant to try this product but now, I m actually glad that I discovered this product. As soon as you apply it on your face and neck, it has an extremely calming and soothing effect, which was something my skin needed desperately. The scrub feels cool against your skin and you might also experience a tingling sensation due to the orange peel oil and licorice extracts. I noticed a drastic difference in my skin after using it for a few nights in a row. Not only did it get rid of my tan, but to an extent, it did reduce the number of stubborn whiteheads on my cheeks. Did you know it can be dangerous to pop a whitehead? You must also get rid of whiteheads and blackheads for a really healthy skin. I highly recommend this product as it has made me look forward to my skincare routine, which I previously found tedious!
