My Facebook page is loaded with home remedies for various beauty problems and quick-fixes from celebrities (that we often tend to fall for). One such natural remedy that I came across recently was using an oatmeal mixture for a month gets rid of facial hair COMPLETELY. Although I don't know whether eating a particular fruit can help me with my weight loss goals, but this oatmeal pack, surely grabbed my eyeballs. Like most of you, I try to dismiss all these tall claims! However, I tried to give this oatmeal pack a try as I don't need to spend a huge amount on those expensive creams or trips to the parlour every month. Plus it's all natural, easily available in the kitchen.
This time, rather than dismissing the claim, I tried to check whether it works or not. I asked my friend to try it out for a month and share the results with me. So after one month the truth will be out, whether oatmeal is an effective home aid for facial hair removal or not.
If you also want to try it out and share your inputs with us, you are welcome. All you need to do is try this mixture (which is all natural) for a month and tell us about it. Here s how you can make this paste:

Day 2 update
Our model tried the oatmeal face pack for two days (alternate days) and here's what she has to say --
Problem she faced: After adding lemon juice (one tablespoon) and honey (one tablespoon) to oatmeal, the mixture turned out to be watery (and not a fine paste). Hence when applied, the pack was dripping from the face.
What she did?: So reduce the quantity of lemon juice to one teaspoon and honey to two teaspoon and then, use it.
Problem she faced: Our model has a dry skin because of which lemon didn't suit her skin type which lead to breakouts.
What she did?: She used tomato pack to soothe the burning sensation that she experienced due to lemon juice.
Week 1 pic
Our model feels that since honey and lemon juice act as natural bleaching agents, the oatmeal pack might lighten your skin tone and hair and not completely free you from facial hair (as in case of laser therapy).
Week 2 update
Our model was not happy with the outcome and she quit the challenge. She experienced skin rashes and irritation and felt that an oatmeal pack might not help you get rid of facial hair completely.
So think twice before you use this oatmeal pack for facial hair removal as it might cause dry skin, skin rashes or pimples. If you have already started using it, please share the experience in the comment box.
