How long does the procedure take place?

There is no downtime, meaning the patients do not have to wait or get admitted to get the treatment. Instead, a person can go to a clinic with prior appointment, get it done and go back to work). There are no bandages or gauzes. The entire procedure takes around 10 minutes.

How many sessions do I need?

One needs to undergo a minimum of 4 sessions at a month gap each. At the end of 4 sittings, there is 50 - 80% reduction in the stretch marks, which varies from person to person and how well they respond to the treatment. However, if an individual has responded well, further no-of sittings are advised for further reduction of stretch marks.

Will the stretch marks go away completely?

The procedure helps the collagen to regenerate and help lighten the stretch marks. It doesn't cause the stretch marks to get away completely, however, there is always a reduction. So you have to do four of it, one sitting a month, for four months.

As the procedure involves laser, once the treatment is done, the skin might become slightly reddish. However, this goes away in 2 - 3 days as the skin starts to heal off. During this stage, there is collagen and elastin formation, which aids in the regeneration of the skin. When the healing takes place, the stretch marks start getting better and better. There are no side effects as such to the whole treatment. In the worst case scenario, the person might not have satisfactory results as expected.
