Moroccan oil - what's the big deal about it?

Argan oil which originates from Morocco is now popularly called as Moroccan oil. This 'golden oil' comes with many benefits for the hair.

Argan oil which comes from argan nut grown on its tree in Morocco, so it popularly known as Moroccon oil (also a brand). This is considered not less than a magic portion in a range of haircare products. It is hence referred to as liquid gold due to its non-greasy and extra smooth texture. Additionally, it is packed with Vitamin E and fatty acids meant to enrich the hair completely.

Ensure the product bottle says, 100% pure Argan (Argania Spinosa) Kernal Oil. This should also be accompanied with the EKOCERT mark or certificate with it.

Soft fragrance

There should be no presence of any fragrances, parrafanium and no water. Yes, the original fragrance is soft and nutty to smell, which usually disperses once applied on your skin or hair.

Amber glass packaging

Be particular about the packaging this oil is best sold in dark amber glass bottles and not clear plastic or glass bottles. This is so because the light through it can split its properties.

Consistency and golden brown colour

Ensure that the consistency and texture of the oil is such that it is not too watery and neither is it heavy to apply. The cosmetic version of this oil would be light golden brown. If it is absolutely colourless then there are high chances that it is diluted with other oils.
