Dharmendra's daughter-in-law, Deepti Bhatnagar who is a full-time global traveller with over 500,000 followers on Instagram, her journey is not short of extraordinary. Before becoming one of the most sought-after travel influencers from India, Deepti Bhatnagar was a rising star in Bollywood who got a chance to work with all three times, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khanand Aamir Khan. Interestingly, Deepti Bhatnagar's career update seems to be glitz and glam from the beginning, ever since she was young.
Deepti Bhatnagar is a Meerut-born travel influencer who initially did not started to set out to become an actor. She moved to Mumbai and tried a handicraft business before her fate steered her towards modelling which she ended up winning the Miss India pageant at 18 years.
Following the event of winning the crown, according to Deepti Bhatnagar, her life turned around quickly by landing her in several Bollywood films.
Deepti Bhatnagar has been reported to have told one leading media outlet, "When I came first to Mumbai at the age of 22, I opened my first bank account with State Bank of India, Juhu, and vowed that by the end of the month, I'd have a lakh in my account. Modelling was easy money, so I succeeded."
"When I came to Mumbai, I wanted to buy my dream house in 11 months. And, I did! In Juhu, and that too, from Madhuri Dixit," she added.
Deep Bhatnagar joined the Deol clan by marrying Randeep Arya, who is the son of Dharmendra's cousin Veerender, a popular Punjabi actor from the 80s.
The travel influencer who now has two children with Randeep Arya, the son of Dharmendra's cousin Veerender told a leading media outlet, "Randeep and I did the Fair and Lovely commercial, in which he played my husband. We got engaged the same year. Then, I moved in with him. After eight years, I asked him, 'Shaadi karoge ab?"
In a 2024 interview with a leading media outlet, talking about timelessness, Deepti Bhatnagar told a leading media outlet, "For me, timelessness is about experiences that leave an imprint on your soul, no matter how much time passes. It goes beyond age, culture, or fleeting trends. It's in the moments that stay with you forever, reminding you of life's best memories.
"My shows Yatra (spiritual travel) and Musafir Hoon Yaron (world travel show) have taught me humility, how to connect with people, and to appreciate the world's beauty. I consider myself incredibly rich-not in terms of possessions, but in the countless experiences that have shaped who l am. That's what timelessness means to me experiences that are eternal."
Reflecting on ageing gracefully, the 58-year-old former actor previously took to Instagram expressing, "Young or old, age doesn't matter. Let's stop judging on how long somebody has been on this earth, but let's look at someone's achievements, experiences, successes and talent. Age is just a number."
