As a bride, you should always choose waterproof makeup. Start with the waterproof foundation and follow up with some waterproof eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. Choosing a waterproof base or foundation will help to avoid smudges and distinct areas where there isn t any makeup applied. However make sure that you use a concealer on your eyelids before applying any eyeshadow. This will ensure that you don t see any lines or veins in your gorgeous photos. Use translucent powder to avoid shine. If you have oily skin, carry blotting paper in your purse to remove the oil.

Highlight your good features

The purpose of make-up is to highlight and enhance your good features, not to hide flaws. The more you try to hide flaws, the more likely it will show up. If you have gorgeous eyes, for example, highlight your eyes and draw attention away from your nose, or lips. Don t use runny mascara

Avoid runny mascara for those teary moments. You can forgo mascara completely, but your lashes will not look long and luscious. If you re not used to wearing false lashes, use mascara that is completely waterproof, and easy to remove. Also, use a perfect brow pencil that will naturally enhance your perfectly arched eyebrows.

Don t experiment with lipstick shade

To get that natural look for day functions, dark eyes and light lips is the best formula. However, for all night functions, light eyes and dark colors on lips work the best. Your lips should be just a few shades darker than your natural tone, and keep your eye makeup simple with light shades of browns and nudes.

If you usually don t wear lipstick, today is not the day to put it on. Stick with something you often wear. You ll be doing a lot of talking, kissing and sipping some liquids so you may need to reapply your lip colour often.
