You don't need bold eyes and lips when you can win over the Saturday Night Party with a minimalistic look!

It's party time! Have all eyes on you this weekend with a simple, minimalist make-up look. Who says you need heavy and bold makeup to look sexy. Choose to look chic and be comfortable. Here's how.

Aakriti Kochar, beauty and make-up expert at Oriflame India, suggests how to nail the minimalist makeup look.

1. Apply a sunblock as a part of your base makeup to protect your skin from any damage during the day.

2. Go for a soft and smudged eyeliner, maybe brown instead of black. If you are fond of using mascara, use a waterproof one that stays on for a longer time. Read: Maybelline Colossal or Lakme Eyeconic: Which is the one for you?

3. A soft matte blush for the day is also a good addition to the look.

4. Soft pink or coral lips add a fresh look to your face. You can even go for a nude shade.

5. Use a BB cream instead of foundation since it is an all-in-one moisturiser, SPF, foundation, compact and primer. A good BB cream can compensate for multiple layers since it does it all in one layer. It is light and comfortable on the skin.

6. Avoid heavy make-up and dark eyes during monsoon. Smokey eyes is a big NO! Lip and cheek tint is a good idea for monsoon since it's lightweight and gives a natural hint of color.

7. Avoid using gloss during monsoon since they have a sticky feel to it which makes it extremely uncomfortable in humid weather. Read how to make your makeup last longer.
