Home remedies for dark cuticles

Milk cream scrub

Milk acts as an excellent nutrition and moisturizer as well. Make a scrub using milk cream and oats. Take a bowl - fill it with some oats and damp it with milk cream and then add a few drops of lemon and honey. Now it s all ready to be used as a scrub on the darker part of the skin around your nails. Here is a no-fail home remedy for soft cuticles.


Put some sugar in the half squished lemon and rub it over the dark skin area. The lemon helps in cleansing the skin & slowly lightens it over the time whereas sugar moisturizes the skin. You can also try this home remedy for damaged cuticles.

Natural bleach Buttermilk

It s a great choice to remove dark skin. Take a bowl and put a teaspoon of calamine and sandal powder then add 2-3 drops of buttermilk and a few strands of saffron. Let it dry for few minutes. Then apply this pack on the affected areas and wash it off after 20 minutes.

Healthy Food

Deficiency of Vitamin B6 and B12 is the chief cause of having dark skin around the nails. Taking nourishing food is vital therefore you should add food containing vitamin B6 and B12 in your diet like milk, bananas, walnuts, sesame seeds, spinach, avocados, sunflower seeds, cheese, eggs, cod, chicken, shrimp, salmon, tuna, sardines, raisins, and prunes. It ll help removing the darkness of the skin and would let you flaunt your shiny & glowing skin.
