We know Sonam looks gorgeous but what do you do to enhance her beauty? What is the secret of her looking perfect almost always?

I always prep Sonam's skin before applying any make-up. It's important to moisturize, apply eye cream and sunscreen before you apply anything else and that is what I do for Sonam's skin as well.

What make-up do you suggest for everyday wear?

For everyday make-up, one can use a BB cream, tinted moisturizer with sunblock, compact powder for the T-zone, a check tint, waterproof mascara and bright lip colours this season.

According to you, what are the five must-haves in one's makeup cabinet?

For me, the list goes like this:

• Mascara
• Lash curler
• Blush
• Kajal pencil
• A red lipstick

Could you tell us what should be one's pre and post make-up routine?

Prepping the skin is very important before make-up and removing every speck of it before you sleep is equally important too. Also, apply a night cream and an eye cream before going to bed.

Could you give us some make-up tips?

• Always curl your lashes before wearing mascara as they make your eyes look bigger.
• Clean your make-up brushes and sponges every 15 days.
• Don't keep cosmetics for more than 2 years they have definitely expired.
• Always wear sunscreen even if you are at home.

Apart from working with Sonam Kapoor, Namrata has also worked on movies like Om Shaanti Om, Main Hoon Na, Aisha, Salaam Namaste and various others as a make-up artist and with Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, Arjun Rampal, etc. Her approach is simple using the right products in the right places to highlight a person's best features and natural beauty.
