Moustache for menI am a 27 year old working professional. I find myself struggling with managing my moustache. How do I maintain and manage it well?

Undesirable as it is to women, facial hair is usually crucial to men to highlight and enhance facial features. Going wrong with the moustache can change the look completely. Here is what you need to know to manage and make your moustache look good:

  • Comb your moustache above the lip in a downward motion using a moustache comb. This helps release the hair of any tangles.
  • Shampoo and condition your moustache hair for hygiene, at least 2 times a week. Ensure you have no smoke or food residue.
  • Conditioning helps the hair texture soften, making it more manageable.
  • Trim your moustache regularly. Use a beard trimmer or a ear and nose trimmer. You could also use a pair of small scissors in a straight horizontal direction. Ensure you trim when your hair is absolutely dry.
  • For healthy moustache hair and the skin beneath it, you should pay attention to moisturising. Apply some moisturiser on the hair finely and wipe off the excess cream with a towel gently.
  • You could use a non-flaky gel or hair balm to manage coarse hair.
  • You'd need a small pair of scissors and hair gel as per the texture of your hair to retain the moustache style.
