Nails and toe nails are as important to our body as any other part. As they directly come in contact with the mouth during various activities, they should always be clean and well maintained. Also dirty nails look really bad.
Here are some tips to keep your nails tidy and clean:
Always tone down your nails by copping them off with a standard nail-cutter. Growing longer nails will result in bacteria or other stuff growing under your nail.
You can get rid of the white spots on your nails by eating food rich in zinc like chocolate, beef, peanuts, etc.
Foods like eggs, peas and beans are a rich source of vitamin H, which is essential to keep your nails in good shape.
Toe-nails are most prone to injuries and breakdowns, also the most neglected ones. Walking barefoot on a dirty floor, wearing dirty socks, shoes or sandals, or wearing tight footwear can all lead to toe issues and should be avoided.
