Here are things you should keep in mind before using a makeup setting spray

Makeup setting spray is an essential part of the makeup routine as it helps you keep your makeup fresh for longer. But we all know most makeup setting sprays contain alcohol that can be very harmful for your skin and eyes. Most people are unaware of the right way of spritzing makeup sprays on their face. Please make sure you follow these tips before using the product:

1. Check the ingredients carefully.

2. Spray it only after you are done with makeup.

3. A safer way of applying the spray would be spritzing it on your makeup brushes (including your eyebrow and eyeshadow brush) and then using the brush.

4. If you are directly spritzing it on your face make sure to keep the bottle 6-8 inches away from your face and then spray.

5. Keep your eyes closed and hold your breath for the time you use the spray.

6.Try to avoid using it if you have sensitive skin.

7. Shake the bottle well before use.

8. Consider the weather before applying it. During hot, humid conditions, use the one that has cooling and sweat-resistant quality. But during winter, find the one that will hydrate your skin too.

9. For hot sunny days, choose the one with SPF.

10. One of the most popular ways of applying makeup setting spray to achieve full coverage is to first apply in an 'X' shape and then 'T' shape over your face.

11. Don't rub it once you have applied it.

12. Let it dry naturally. Don't run towards the fan. Otherwise, you are not letting the makeup spray sink in your makeup.
