Since my childhood, I have been on the lookout for a good and effective lip balm or chapstick for my lips. But till I tried SoulTree Lotus and Kokum Butter lip balm, I wasn t satisfied with the popular lip balms in the Indian market. I have always had a terrible habit of licking my lips every now and then. Needless to say, during winter, you can clearly see the extent of damage this habit plus the dry weather does to my lips. What s worse is that I sometimes try to bite off the dead skin on my lips which makes my lips bleed. The texture becomes drier and rougher as a result. Now you know why so many lip balms have failed me. Healing my lips is quite a challenge! I have tried a number of home remedies to heal dry and chapped lips. But nothing has worked.
What SoulTree Lotus and Kokum Butter lip balm promises
I decided to try SoulTree Lotus and Kokum Butter lip balm mainly because of its all-natural claim-- SoulTree claims its products are certified-natural personal care and beauty products and that they use authentic Ayurvedic recipes and honestly-sourced natural, organic ingredients that do no harm, only good. It says the lip balm has organic ghee that heals, moisturises and lightens. It also has kokum butter and seven organic oils including castor oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, clarified butter, coconut oil, apricot oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil, kokum butter, cocoa butter, pink lotus, along with other ingredients. It claims it has no synthetic colours, fragrances or preservatives or chemicals and is not tested on animals. The pack says regular use keeps your lips soft and supple. My experience with SoulTree Lotus and Kokum Butter lip balm
This is the only lip balm that I m thoroughly satisfied with. I need to apply this just once during the day and believe it or not, my lips stay soft and moisturised throughout the day. I massage it on my lips in the morning after my bath and let the balm do its magic. I usually wear a lipstick about an hour after the lips have soaked the balm.
