Take a stroll down the anti-ageing aisle in any drugstore and you will find plenty lotions and creams that claim to reduce sagging skin and wrinkles. But before you empty your wallet, open your refrigerator. You will find many ingredients with youth-boosting antioxidants that can improve the elasticity of your skin and keep age spots at bay. How carrot will help?

  • The vitamin C in carrots will help repair damaged skin that causes wrinkles.
  • Carrots are a rich source of vitamin A which promotes collagen production and keeps the skin smooth.
  • The antioxidants will protect skin against free radicals and prevent it from damage.
  • It will help scrape dead cells off the skin.
  • It will act as humectants and keep the skin hydrated.

Use this face pack to get fresh and youthful skin.

  • Peel two carrots and boil them until tender. Mash them.
  • Add 1 teaspoon almond oil and mix well.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about an hour.
  • Apply it on the area surrounding your eyes, cheeks and chin.
  • Let it settle for half an hour, then rinses off with lukewarm water.
  • Apply this pack three times a week for that glowing, wrinkle-free skin.
