Apple cider vinegar is like that one hair or trick to growing out your hair faster. Whether you simply want long locks or just got a haircut you don t love, your friends will always advise you to apply some apple cider vinegar for quick results. So when I get came across this blog which read just two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar for thicker, longer hair , I was intrigued but at the same time very sceptical. Vinegar is said to make your strands grow faster and stay healthy but I needed to get my doubts cleared by an expert. Mixing tablespoons apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and applying it 30 minutes before shampoo is the recipe in question. Here s what Nandini Agarwal, beauty and hair expert from Marvie Ann Beck Academy had to say.

There is no such treatment which is the magical hair treatment in reality and there is nothing you can do to actually speed up your hair growth. The rate at which your hair grows and the length till which it can grow is predetermined and just one ingredient cannot change it so you can save that apple cider vinegar for your salad dressing. Having said that, apple cider vinegar will not hurt your locks either. The pH of your hair is very similar to the pH of your hair and rinsing it off quickly won t do any damage to your hair. Using a gentle shampoo to wash your hair can be better than applying apple cider vinegar. Here's how to grow long hair.

However, if you want to keep it natural, amla or Indian gooseberry can be excellent to strengthen your hair and prevent hair loss. Amla is vitamin C rich and high in antioxidants which help solve most hair problems. Amla could be applied to the scalp. You could prepare a small mixture by crushing an amla or using its powder. These simple tricks will make your hair appear longer.
