soapnut

Soap nuts or reetha in Hindi, is a nut which has been in use for ages. Women use it to keep common hair problems at bay as it is a natural way to fight infection and give you healthy locks. Many use it in combination with shikakai for added benefits. If you are starting to lose your hair, you can use soap nuts to prevent further hair fall. Here's how you can use them.

Take 10-12 soap nuts and soak them in water for a few hours. Now remove them and use this water to wash your hair. If you feel your hair isn't completely clean yet, then keep the nuts in another vessel filled with water and wash hair with it again. Regular use of this liquid will help your hair from falling. Do not throw away the soap nuts after one wash, you can use them for multiple washes as they are quite strong and effective.
