In winter months, it isn't uncommon to have hair which is dry and easily traps in static electricity which makes it look frizzy and dull. Even combing becomes a menace in this season. But a simple switch from plastic combs to a wooden one can do the trick. Here's another trick to tame frizzy hair.
The reason we have static is when two unlikely objects rub against each other and produce an electric charge. In case of a plastic comb, the charge is easily transferred to your hair from the comb and this makes your strands repel each other which makes it look frizzy. It is better to use a wide-toothed wooden comb instead of one with small teeth as that will further prevent any static. Though it is difficult to prevent static hair in the winter, you can minimise it by using a wooden comb. Also, make sure you do not blow-dry your hair too much.
