Ingrown hair which look like small, red boils on the skin often bother women after a hair removal session. If left untreated, they turn black and leave a bump on the skin. They are basically hair which is growing inside the skin with its tip visible outside. They can leave the skin feeling irritated and red. Many a times, they occur when hair removal methods aren't done correctly such as reverse shaving on an area or not pulling out the hair properly during a waxing session. But a simple home remedy can help you fix this problem easily.
Tea tree oil is quite effective in getting rid of ingrown hair. All you have to do is apply a few drops of the oil on the ingrowth once you clean the area properly. Next, exfoliate it gently to make it smooth. You can use a loofah for the same. Tea tree oil has antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties which will reduce ingrowths so you can apply it after shaving or waxing your hands and legs.
