As sweet as it sounds, this combo can be very smoothing. Sugar and honey exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells. It can be easily made by simply mixing the two ingredients together. This homemade body scrub can be very nourishing and hydrating for the skin.
Coffee can be a good exfoliator. It stimulates blood circulation and makes the skin look brighter. Coconut oil acts as a moisturizer, adding nourishment to the skin. Add coffee grounds and regular coconut oil in a bowl and mix them together. Apply the paste on the body in circular motions.
Turmeric is a natural skin brightening agent. It has been used for skin related issues for ages. Mix half a tablespoon of turmeric with two tablespoons of besan or gram flour. Now add raw milk and make a thick paste. The granules of the gram flour will remove the dead skin while the milk leaves a cooling effect.
Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammation properties. Tea tree oil can be scrubbed on the body along with sugar to moisturize and nourish skin. It can lighten blemishes and help ease skin irritation.
Lemon, like turmeric, is a natural brightening and bleaching agent. It is widely used in skincare routine for glowing skin. Mix two tablespoons of lemon juice with fine sugar and scrub it all over your body.
