Here are 5 home made face packs that are easy to make and will give you instant moisturized and soft skin. Also Read - 5 simple and effective natural remedy for hyperpigmentation

1. Overripe banana mash

Overripe bananas usually go straight into the bin, but here’s how you can use them to manage dry skin, get rid of dead skin cells and treat aging skin.

Steps:

  • Take two overripe bananas and mash them.
  • Add a few drops of honey and two tablespoons of yoghurt. Mix well.
  • You could put some oats in the mixture to exfoliate your skin.
  • Apply this paste onto your face and neck with a flat face pack brush. Leave out the area around the eyes.
  • Wash after 15-20 minutes.

2. Banana with honey and lemon

Acne is the most common skin problem and we often struggle to avoid and treat it. A combination of lemon and honey with banana helps relieve the inflammation caused and softens it.

Steps:

  • Mash half a banana in a bowl.
  • Add half a tablespoon of honey. Squeeze out the juice from half a lemon and add into the bowl.
  • Before you apply this face pack, ensure your skin is washed well.
  • Apply the face pack and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse this off with water.

3. Banana with egg yolk, honey and lemon

Are you back from a beach vacation, with a bad tan? This paste is a great way to get rid of the tan as well as lighten the skin. It’s preferable, that you skip this face mask if you have extremely oily or sensitive skin.

Steps:

  • Mash half a banana and mix with an egg yolk.
  • Add a few tablespoons of lemon with one spoon of honey and beat well.
  • Apply this all over the face and leave till it has completely dried out.
  • Wash this out.

4. Banana and oatmeal mix

Our skin often suffers from blackheads, whiteheads and is clogged with blemishes. While there are plenty of face scrubs available at salons and stores the good ones generally come with exorbitant price tags. Besides, you would know best what works for your skin. Oatmeal is a great exfoliating agent and serves well as part of the scrub with banana.

Steps:

  • Take one tablespoon of oatmeal and soak it with half of a mashed banana in a bowl.
  • Apply this scrub all over your face and leave it till it dries off.
  • Once done, wash it with luke warm water and dry your face gently.

5. Banana and papaya face pack

With an ever hectic life full of events and occasions to attend one after the other, your skin needs to be treated with some rejuvenating nutrients. Banana with papaya is a great way to get your skin glowing and healthy.

Steps:

  • Scoop out some papaya pulp and mix thoroughly with one mashed banana.
  • Apply this well on the face, neck and even the hands if you want for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash well with cold water.
