Winter chill and cold winds can take a toll on your skin and make them dry. Try these homemade face packs packed with antioxidants and cell-rejuvenating vitamins and enzymes that will help you battle dry skin in winters.

1. Turmeric, lemon and honey face pack

By combining turmeric and lemon juice with honey, you can help your skin retain its lost moisture. Honey prevents cracks and soreness on the skin. The turmeric can draw impurities from skin pores and leave your skin looking young and fresh. You can also try these turmeric face masks for glowing skin.

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Now add a pinch of turmeric to the mixture and combine them well.
  • Now spread the mixture evenly on your face.
  • Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.
  • Apply this regularly for two weeks to see visible results.

2. Coconut oil and honey face pack

Coconut can be topically applied on your skin to increase hydration and reduce loss of water from your skin. The vitamin E in coconut oil helps protect the skin while fatty acids in the oil help the skin to lock in moisture.

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of coconut oil with 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • Combine the mixture well, using a spoon.
  • Apply it softly on your face with the help of your fingertips.
  • Let the mixture settle for 15 minutes. Then rinse it off gently with lukewarm water.
  • You can apply this mixture every day before going to sleep.

3. Yogurt and oats face mask

Yogurt rejuvenates your skin by nourishing and exfoliating it. The lactic acid present in it helps smoothen the rough and dry skin. Oats help to scrape off the dead skin cells from the skin.

  • Yogurt contains lactic acid that can help smooth rough and dry skin.
  • Add 1 teaspoon yogurt and 1 teaspoon honey in a bowl.
  • Also add 1 teaspoon oats and combine the mixture well.
  • Apply a thick coat of the mixture on your face with the help of your fingertips.
  • Leave the mask on your face for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
  • Apply this pack every alternate day for best results.

4. Papaya face pack

  • Take 3-4 pieces of papaya and mash them to make a puree.
  • Now add a few drops of honey and a teaspoon of raw milk in it. Mix well.
  • Apply this rich pack on your face and neck.
  • Let it stay for at least 15 minutes and then wash with tap water.
  • To lock in the moisture, apply a moisturiser with SPF in it.
  • You can apply this face pack thrice a week.

5. Cinnamon face pack

Cinnamon moisturises the skin, while bringing blood and nutrients to the surface of the skin. It can also help nourish the skin by exfoliating it.

  • Grind 2-3 cinnamon sticks.
  • Now add 2 tablespoons honey and combine it well.
  • Apply this mixture on your face and leave it for half an hour.
  • You can use this pack every alternate day to get rid of dry skin.
