  1. A scarf, hat or umbrella – It is vital to cover your head from direct sun as it can dehydrate you very fast.
  2. Face wipes – These will keep your face free of sweat, oil and grime. You can go for wet wipes too as they will provide extra freshness.
  3. Sunglasses – Protect your eyes while making a style statement with your eyewear. Choose a pair of shades which have UV 400 or EPF labels to ensure maximum protection. It is even better if the lenses are polorised.
  4. Scrunchie – This is a must-have in your handbag. Tie your tresses when you step out in the sun. It will not only make you feel less hot, but it will also save your hair from pollution and dust.
  5. Deodorant – Everyone sweats in the heat so keep a deodorant handy in your purse to avoid any body odour. You can even choose roll-ons.
  6. Sunscreen – This is probably the most important of the lot. A good sunscreen will ensure that you are protected from harmful UV rays and will also reduce sun tanning.
  7. Lip balm with SPF – This will ensure that your lips are moisturised and the SPF will protect it from sun rays.
  8. A comb – Tidy up your hair by running a comb through it once you reach your destination. Always tie-up your hair when out in the sun.
  9. Bottle of water – It is important to keep yourself hydrated especially during the summer so always have a bottle of water in your handbag.
  10.  Compact powder with SPF – You tend to sweat a lot during summer so keep compact powder in your handbag and dab some on your face to look fresh.
