He holds an MBBS and MD in Medicine from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and a DM in Neurology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. With a strong academic and clinical background, Dr. Sharma specialises in the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, with key expertise in epilepsy, stroke, and neuromuscular disorders. He served for over 22 years at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, where he held the position of Senior Professor and Unit Head before taking voluntary retirement in 2017. During his academic career, he also contributed as an internal and external examiner for DM Neurology across various medical institutes in India, reflecting his strong involvement in medical education and training.
