The Vulva is a part of female genitalia (vagina). Development of cancer in vulvar regions is known as vulvar cancer. It is more prevalent in mature women. Genetic mutation is the primary cause for its occurrence. Vulvar cancer appears as lump and soreness in the vulvar area. The other common symptoms of vulvar cancer are: incessant itch, pain in the genital part, vaginal bleeding and lump formation. Proper examination of the vulva and biopsy test helps diagnose this abnormality. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy are the suggested modes of treatment for vulvar cancer.
