Kegel exercise is a class of squeeze and release exercises that helps to make the pelvic muscles stronger. The pelvic area of the body consists of urinary and reproductive organs in both men and women. Due to certain circumstances (pregnancy, age, menopause, etc.), the muscles in and around the pelvis becomes weakened which causes uncontrolled bowel movement and urinary incontinence. This exercise increases muscular contractility and thus helps to overcome these problems. One should try this exercise after proper consultation with physician.
