Ghulam Nabi Azad

Ghulam Nabi Azad is the current Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and an old Congress stalwart. He was instrumental in setting up in the National Rural Health Mission – the ambitious rural healthcare plan. He has made several gaffes during his tenure including saying gay sex was an unnatural disease, asking foreign-bound medical students to sign bonds and asking people to watch TV instead of having sex to promote family planning.
