You will have a great posture, stabilise your shoulder joints and also improve your spine health and all of these can be achieved with yoga. Here a few asanas recommended by yoga expert Abhishek Sharma to sculpt a V-shaped back.
Sarvangasana or shoulder stand: This asana is one of the best yoga asanas to strengthen and tone your upper back. It also works on toning your hips, buttocks and legs.
Ustrasana or the camel pose: This yoga pose will not only strengthen your back but will provide a great stretch to your hip flexors. The asana also improves your posture.
Three-legged downward dog pose: This back and arm strengthening variation of the three-legged dog pose requires you to bend the knee of your top leg which in turn improves flexibility in your spine, hip flexors and hamstrings.
The extended tabletop: This asana will open the front of your body while strengthening your back and shoulders, toning your tush and increasing flexibility.
Balancing star pose: This cross between the sage pose and half moon pose will work towards toning both your upper body and your core. The asana will also give a good stretch to your hip flexors.
Chaturanga dandasana: This is an excellent asana to target your back, shoulders and triceps. It will also tone your arms and increase flexibility in your hamstrings.
