You have to agree that Shilpa Shetty is one of the fittest actresses in Bollywood. She surprised everyone by shedding all her post pregnancy flab. Wonder how she did it? We give you a dose on her fitness and diet secrets.
Yoga: Shilpa Shetty attributes her post-pregnancy weight loss to yoga and performs it 2 times a week. She has even come up with a set of yoga videos called ‘Shilpa’s Yoga’ inspiring a lot of people across the country to practice yoga.
Cardio: The diva loves aerobics and never skips that once a week cardio session. Also, all that dancing in movies and shows like Nach Baliya contributes to keeping her in shape.
Strength training: We caught up with Shilpa’s trainer Vinod Channa, who told us that Shilpa did three days of strength training with exercises targeting chest shoulders and triceps on day 1, back and biceps on day 2 and leg on day 3.
Diet: Shilpa had put on a lot of weight during her pregnancy and got back in shape just in 3 months. She followed a strict diet to achieve that svelte body. She ate vegetables and sprouts for both lunch and dinner. In between these two meals, she regularly ate fruits which were rich in fibre.
Cheat day: The ever gorgeous Shilpa Shetty’s cheat day is well timed for her weekend fun. She posted a picture on Instagram saying ‘Yummmm Sunday cheat food Suji pani puris yummyyyyyyyy.’
