Cheese: Who doesn't like eating cheese? The more cheese your food has, the tastier it is! However, a 2014 study published in the Journal Fertility and Sterility , revealed that cheese intake is related to lower sperm concentration, especially among current as well as past smokers, whereas low-fat intake, particularly milk, is related to higher sperm concentration and progressive motility.
Sugary drinks: Stop grabbing that bottle of a sugary drink because, intake of sugar-sweetened beverages was found to cause lower sperm motility, especially among lean men . Moreover, excessive intake can also cause a decrease in FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), which is responsible for production of sperms. The study was published in the Journal Human Reproduction.
Hot water baths: According to Dr Rajan Bhosale, Honorary Professor & HOD, Department of Sexual Medicine, KEM Hospital & G.S.Medical College, Mumbai, hot water baths can harm your sperm production as the temperature of the testicles is raised. Instead, it is wise to wash your private parts with cold water and then wipe it off to keep the penis clean and healthy.
Watching TV: If watching TV is your favourite past-time, then here is what you need to know. A study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine revealed that men who watch more than 20 hours of TV a week have 44% lower sperm concentration that those who don't watch TV at all and exercise moderately or vigorously each week .
Soy: A 2008 study in Human Reproduction  suggested that higher intake of soy foods and soy isoflavones are associated with lower sperm concentration, especially among overweight or obese men. However, intake of soy-rich products showed no effect on sperm motility, morphology and ejaculation volume.
