Neem leaves are known to be an effective natural remedy for various health problems including dandruff and diabetes. Here are ways you can use these leaves for common conditions.
To keep body odour away (especially during menstruation):
Soak few neem leaves in a bucket of warm water for 30-minutes. Use the water to take a bath as it helps to fight body odour and prevent infections.
To control blood glucose level: Neem leaves are known to be an effective natural remedy to control diabetes. For this, drink a tablespoon of freshly prepared neem leaves juice on an empty stomach daily for best results.
To fight dandruff: Grind few neem leaves with coconut oil till it becomes a thick paste and apply the paste on your scalp. Leave it on your scalp for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with water to get rid of dandruff and prevent hair fall.
To relieve a fungal infection: Dry and crush some neem leaves. Add equal quantities of sandalwood powder and rose water, mix well. Apply this mixture to treat fungal infection and also soothe the skin.
To get rid of sore throat: Add around 3 neem leaves to a glass of water allow it to boil. Cool the mixture and add a teaspoon of honey, mix well and gargle to get rid from a sore throat.
