Pale skin: If your skin has turned pale, it could be a sign that you suffer from vitamin B12 deficiency. Eggs, seafood, meat and dairy products are some of the best sources of vitamin B12.
Colourless lips: Pale lips could be a sign that you have iron deficiency. You may also feel cold all the time. Load up on beans, lentils, meat and dark green vegetable to boost your iron intake.
Puffy eyes: While lack of sleep can lead to puffy eyes, puffy eyes could also be a sign of lack of iodine in your body. Apart from iodized salt, seafood and dairy products are rich sources of iodine.
Bleeding gums: Bleeding gums can indicate that you have low levels of vitamin C in your body. Vitamin C deficiency could also lead to muscle pain and low immunity. Eat a lot of citrus fruits and red peppers to up your vitamin C intake.
