Indian beauty secrets are popular around the world. I spoke to some Indian ladies and asked the secret behind their gorgeously flawless skin and here's what they revealed.
Firstly I talked to Sandhya, who's 28 years old working woman and here's her secret to glowing skin,"I mix besan, moong dal and tur dal flour together and make a great face pack. Unlike only besan, the addition of the other two flours makes the mixture particularly tight after it dries. It does a great job of exfoliating your skin apart from making it glow. You can add haldi to it for an antiseptic touch."
Here's what 26 yr old Tania has to say, "Yoga is the secret to my glowing skin. I just get into uttanasana or the forward bending pose and do some inversions like Sarvangasana and sirsasana and immediately see the glow on my skin."
Sakshi, a 36-year-old working lady, believes in the power of Multani mitti, she says,"Once a week I mix Multani mitti with rose water and apply it on my face.Let it dry and rinse well and I believe that gives a nice glow and also helps me fight tan."
Tenshi is a 40-year-old proud owner of incredibly radiant skin says, "I believe in face massages. They really work. Sometimes I ask my daughter to do it, but most of the time I do it on my own. I use facial oil massage on my face for a minimum of 10 mins, once a week."
Neha, a 31-year-old working woman, believes in beauty sleep; she says, "Previously, I used to get a minimum of about 4-5 hours of sleep and soon realised that it was taking a toll on my skin. I made a conscious effort to take less stress and sleep early. I could immediately see the difference. Even today, when I don't sleep well, it immediately shows on my skin--dark circles, dull complexion and droopy eyes. But when I sleep well and I am tension free, my face actually glows!
