I love ponytails as they look smart and elegant. However, there are high chances of hair breakage and weakening of roots of your hair. Here are a few tips that worked for me.
We all like Deepika Padukone's signature ponytail which involves a bit of back combing. But back combing makes your hair rough and aids breakage. Reafrain from it as much as possible.
Tie your hair in a half bun instead which takes less toll on your hair and looks trendy.
Comb your hair properly, with the right comb before tying it into a pony tail so that your rubberband doesn't have strands of hair rolled up hence preventing hair breakage.
Even though hair sprays make pony tails look sleek... avoid using it as it hardens the hair and later breaks the hair strands. Instead apply a good serum before hand.
Don't use too many pins. Pins tend to hold the hair tight and while taking them out at the end of the day, you lose hair.
