Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has always been one of the fittest actresses. She recently spoke about weight loss in an interview– “Managing weight is not about giving up food but eating right. This includes a nourishing breakfast and a daily regime of exercise to stay fit.” Deepika is a versatile actor and has worked in films that demand a lot of physical transition, and we have seen Deepika ace it perfectly. We all know this doesn’t happen in a day and takes a lot of hard work, patience, sweat and focus. People usually look for shortcuts and fail miserably. Why Deepika’s statement is good news for us? It is because it will help spread awareness about the fact that there is no shortcut to weight loss. When famous celebrities like her say things that encourage people to quit taking shortcuts for weight loss, we can’t help but fall for her even more.

Deepika is known for her lean physique. Giving a health tip to her fans, Deepika said: “Choose foods that are wholesome and nourishing.” This is a message that is crucial and will help people understand that starving is not the way to achieve the figure that she or other actors have achieved and maybe proper diet and gym will help more.While stalking her social media, I bumped into one of her videos where she is sweating herself out in the gym. After making her Hollywood debut with the film “XxX: Return of Xander Cage” earlier this year, the actress is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historic period drama “Padmavati” – which also stars her rumoured boyfriend, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.
